If this story can inspire someone you know, please share it with them! Arthur’s story is highlighted from the beginning, in the upcoming documentary, INSPIRED: The Movie. www.inspiredthemovie.com (Thanks to filmmaker Steve Yu for putting this inspirational video together!) Arthur Boorman was a disabled veteran of the Gulf War for 15 years, and was told by his doctors that he would never be able to walk on his own, ever again. He stumbled upon an article about Diamond Dallas Page doing Yoga and decided to give it a try — he couldn’t do traditional, higher impact exercise, so he tried DDP YOGA and sent an email to Dallas telling him his story. Dallas was so moved by his story, he began emailing and speaking on the phone with Arthur throughout his journey – he encouraged Arthur to keep going and to believe that anything was possible. Even though doctors told him walking would never happen, Arthur was persistent. He fell many times, but kept going. Arthur was getting stronger rapidly, and he was losing weight at an incredible rate! Because of DDP’s specialized workout, he gained tremendous balance and flexibility — which gave him hope that maybe someday, he’d be able to walk again. His story is proof, that we cannot place limits on what we are capable of doing, because we often do not know our own potential. Niether Arthur, nor Dallas knew what he would go on to accomplish, but this video speaks for itself. In less than a year, Arthur completely transformed his life. If

This is amazing. I know it’s not the same but this reminds me of when I snapped my foot and the doctors told me I wouldn’t never be able to run again. I worked as hard as I could and a year later I was back playing competitive football. Sometimes you have to accept reality but sometimes you can fight and beat the odds but you’ll never know unless you try.

Respect to you Arthur. Never give up.

Hands down the most moving video on YouTube. So emotional and inspirational. Close second would be the man who does the triathlon with his disabled son. What was the name of that classical piano piece in the beginning?

Very good job, Arthur!! This video got me emotionally, and i must say you have to be very proud of yourself of being capable of not giving or having much much faith!…Many people would not have been able to accomplish what you succeeded!…It’s the most inspirational video/story i’ve ever seen/heard and i will listen your advice of not giving up no matter what!..Thank you again and congratulations!! Much Love from me, and my country, Romania!!

Great work Arthur!

I was able to work, barely, with over 300 pounds and lost 144 pounds in 8 months, but without DDP (sorry! :) ) I ran. Simply as that (when I was able). Check my vids.

Very lovely history and inspire. Actually i’m in a weight loss process to take 30Kg off. For last years i did accept my weight as a fact. I give i was giving up that i never will be with 58Kgs, but in last days i did make a decision. Isn’t simple in the begining, its hard sometimes, but its a step by step process. I hope i will win this battle.

Thank you for sharing this. It brings tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you for reminding many of us (who have lost faith over the years) that ANYTHING is possible! All you need is a little hope and determination. Namaste. Thank you DDP for believing in the possibility.
